BGS Beta-Gamma-Service GmbH & Co KG offers the irradiation of various products by means of ionising radiation as a service. BGS does not manufacture products of its own.
The customers of BGS make use of the services primarily relating to two objectives:
- The elimination or reduction of pathogenic microorganisms (sterilisation)
- The optimisation of plastics, which are modified by the effects of radiation and in this way acquire better performance characteristics (mechanical, thermal, chemical) or better processing properties (raw materials)
